Hollywood tartlet, Hilary Duff, relaxes on the set of her new movie, “Greta” with a Iced Grande Starbucks coffee and Ellen Burstyn’s novel, “Learning to Become Myself“. This book, obviously a sequel to the book Hilary just read, “Learning to forgive my ex-boyfriend who just knocked up the biggest whackjob in L.A.”

I know what you are thinking, “WTH is John Krasinski’s Gap Ad doing on a blog devoted to Celebrities & Starbucks “. First off, congratulations, you know you are a nerd when you start thinking in internet acronymns. Secondly, I realize that this is supposed to be a site about A-listers seen with Starbucks, however, there are certain parallels between John Krasinski and Starbucks which give him the right to be on the site. Allow me to explain….

1. I’m mildly obssessed with Starbucks & The Office. John Krasinski is on “The Office”.

2. Starbucks makes me feel warm inside. So does John Krasinski.

3. I drink Starbucks every morning, including Thursdays. John Krasinski is like a cool drink of water I’d like to taste every Thursday night on the office.

4. If I had to choose between Starbucks and my husband, I would miss my husband. If I had to choose between John Krasinski and my husband, I would still miss my husband.

The similarities are just too obvious!

Starbucks record label, Hear Music,  has just announced that it they will be putting out a cd by singer and songwriter, Hilary McRae.  Labeled as a ‘contemporary pop and R&B’ artist, McRae lists Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire, India Arie and Frank Sinatra as her influences.

This will be the 3rd CD released from the new label, following Paul McCartney and Joni Mitchell.

Starbucks will also be handing out 1.5 million downloads of Hilary McRae’s song, “Consider me Gone” starting on November 1st.

Lovebirds, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo started their day with Starbucks in New York City. ‘Nessa is looking pretty professional so early in the morning…wonder if she has a job interview..that girl needs a jobby job!

Ever wondered how many Starbucks Locations are around you? The guys over at Foodi054 developed a Starbucks Saturation Tool which allows you to type in your area code and it will deliver the total number of Starbucks locations within a 200 mile radius. It’s shocking!

CSI, Gary Sinise, and a Caramel Macchiatto…does it get any better? CSI was in Chicago filming an episode right in front of a Starbucks. Passers by were allowed in the shot as long as there was no gawking or staring. You just might see your favorite coffee in an episode of CSI. Yeah!

P.S. Gary Sinise is in the middle near the light panels and boom mic.

Teri Hatcher has managed to enrage Filipino leaders across the country (no it has nothing to do with this costume) and Starbucks may be asked to ditch their sponsorship of “Desperate Housewives” as a result.
The September 30th episode of “Desperate Housewives” featured a scene where Terri Hatcher’s character reacts to the news she may be going through menopause by saying, “Can I just check those diplomas because I just want to make sure that they are not from some med school in the Philippines.”

“Oh Snap!” & “Oh No She Didn’t” are what prominent Filipino leaders are saying of the disparaging remarks. Seattle Filipino leader, Alma Kern produced a petition signed by over 100,000 filipinos demanding an apology. ABC did issue an apology but it did little to appease the community. Kern states that she will boycott ABC and it’s sponsors, including Starbucks, if they do not promise to ‘produce shows recognizing the contribution of Filipino health care professionals to the American health care system.’

Fatman star…err…Batman star, Val Kilmer treated his 12-year old son, Jack to Starbucks  on Melrose Avenue today. It’s good to see that Val is staying away from the Frappuccinos…he’s looking a little plump lately.
